Due Diligence Checking

During our fact-checking session, we will uncover any gaps in your organisation’s policies and procedures; we’ll then create a plan of action to address these. Whether this is through additional training, engaging outside expertise, or implementing new strategies, I’ll work with you every step of the way.

Whilst it’s not the most enjoyable exercise, it’s a necessity, and one that will highlight both your threats and opportunities. Quite often, when doing these exercises, you can find the differentiator between your organisation and others like you, which is valuable information when writing funding applications.

Organisations and charities are at risk of being shut down every single day. Not because they run out of money, but because they don’t have the correct policies or due diligence in place. Not only does correct compliance, procedures and governance ensure you’re legally compliant, they also open up new avenues of funding that wouldn’t otherwise be available to you.

  • From the fact-checking exercise, we will understand where you are and find any gaps in your policies, procedures, and governance

  • We will highlight those gaps and create a plan to plug them, to ensure your organisation is compliant

  • This then allows us to apply for additional funding opportunities that were otherwise unavailable due to your organisation not meeting the criteria

  • We will carry our regular reviews, to ensure you remain compliant as your organisation develops and changes over time
